We have looked at a number of comms systems that we can equip our staff with and had discussions with several suppliers to determine the best performance and value system to use. Our solo staff on a location will always be in contact with the unit production team via supplied VHF radios however there may arise a situation where they need to contact a senior clinical member of our team for advice or a second opinion on the presentation of symptoms.
In this instance a VHF or UHF radio would not suffice (unless they were within close proximity to the clinical support staff), so we have opted to invest in a POC system that allows us to readily expand our network at short notice and is adaptable to the various needs we will have now and in the future.
After careful consideration of the features, costings, reliability, and reputation, we have opted to use Broadnet as our preferred supplier and are looking forward to our new handsets and vehicle units being delivered very shortly.
Our clinical staff on a film set will have instant contact with a member of the senior management team or a registered clinician should there be the need for support and/or advice relating to patient care and treatment.
In due course, we will be rolling out digital patient report forms, as part of our ongoing commitment to staff support, patient care, and ensuring we are providing the most up-to-date service to you, our client.
